Harbor City Children's Church

Children are a gift from the Lord. Our goal is to shepherd children according to God’s Word so that they personally experience Jesus' renewal, display Him in their lives, and can share the good news with others. Our curriculum includes Bible lessons from The Gospel Project curriculum, crafts, games and discussion as we preach the gospel to young hearts. All classes are led by trained volunteers from the congregation who are given continual oversight and support.

Kids & Communion

It is our joy to receive children to the Lord’s Supper as early as they are able to profess their faith in Jesus and show the fruit of his Spirit in their lives. Parents who wish to have their kids participate in Big Church Communion may check their kids out of Children's Church following the sermon.

Infant Baptism

Following the Scriptures, we practice infant baptism at Harbor. Click here for an in-depth article on Baptism and Children, and please contact us if you would like to have your child baptized, or if you have any questions!

Child Protection Policy

We place a high priority on maintaining a safe and healthy environment for the children under our care. All children's ministry staff and volunteers have been personally interviewed, have provided references and submitted to a background check, and have been educated in our policies prohibiting sexual, physical, mental and emotional misconduct. All children 10 years old and under must be signed in and out of our secure Children's Church facility by a parent or guardian.
