Adult Discipleship: At Harbor City Church, we want to help people become disciples of Jesus – people who want to trust, follow, and be changed by Jesus. We call this discipleship. At Harbor, discipleship is done through Sunday worship and 4 main offerings:
1. Harbor Bible Studies: A Harbor Bible Study is a group of 10-15 people who meet together for 8 weeks to study a book of the bible, pray together, and build relationships. There are three, 8-week sessions per year alternating between the Old and New Testaments.
2. Harbor Discipleship Groups: A Harbor Discipleship Group is a group of 3-4 men or women who gather weekly for 26 weeks to grow stronger relationships and cultivate spiritual practices, a deeper knowledge of God’s word, and a desire to intentionally help others follow and be changed by Jesus.
3. Harbor Spiritual Practice Groups: A Harbor Spiritual Practice Group is a group of people who gather for 4 weeks to share a meal and explore a spiritual practice that we see modeled for us in scripture such as fasting, sabbath, and prayer.
4. Serving Together: Multiple times per year we offer opportunities to care for and invest in our under-served neighbors together as a church.

Kids and Youth Discipleship: Harbor City Kids. The following are ways we disciple our children and youth at Harbor City Church:
1. Treasured Tots: 1 year – 3.5 years old. God’s family through reading, playing and praying.
2. Kingdom Kids: 3.5 years old-1st Grade. We aim to expose children to God’s character and the Gospel through play, story and crafts. Currently, we are working our way through The Jesus Storybook Bible while also observing the Christian Calendar.
3. Corporate Worship: 2nd Grade-6th Grade. We partner with families to disciple kids through modeling corporate worship. Together we praise. Together we confess. Together we listen. Together we pray.
4. Sunday School: 2nd - 6th Grade. Following the worship service, we offer 6-week sessions, 4 times a year. We aim to provide the building blocks of biblical literacy by teaching through the Old Testament and practice prayer together.
5. Youth Group: 7th - 12th Grade. We meet twice a month to study scripture and to hear guest speakers present on various topics. Once per month we get together for social outings.
